New york City is a hub for fun and entertainment for both adults and kids.  NYC provides visitors and residents alike with tons of shopping, resturants, history, and culture.  The city also provides families with multiple sites and attractions that are perfect for entertaining kids be it indoors or outdoors.  Below is a list of the most popular things to do with your kids in NYC:

Grand Central Terminal

A historical spot, and one that will tremendously fascinate your kids upon visiting. This train station was constructed back in 1913, and has become one of the most spectacular places to visit. This station represents the nation’s heritage and history and also has a couple of constellations that are quite fascinating to observe. One odd thing with the constellations drawn on the ceiling is that they have been put together in reverse order such that they are seen as if they are observed from the heavens. This is one phenomenon that will leave your kids more than thrilled.

High Line

High Line is another destination that will offer your kids a lot of excitement visiting during the weekend. Built atop of an abandoned train track, the park provides visitiors with over 20 blocks of walking area; car and bike free!  The park also has a serene environment with plenty of sitting space where you can spend your afternoon with kids overseeing a clear view of Chelsea and the Meatpacking District. High Line is a perfect spot for kids’ entertainment, camps, teen programs as well as family festivals.

Rose Center for Earth and Space

This is a special glass enclosure found in the American Museum of Natural History, which acts as the residence for the stunning and historical Hayden Sphere. Families can take their kids to this site where they can learn some fascinating facts about the universe, galaxies, planets as well as watching the space shows. Its visual maps are always updated through a collaboration between the Museum and the NASA.

New York Hall of Science

This is a “must visit” scenery in NYC for you and your kids. It is in this museum in which you are likely to witness a combination of science, mathematics, and technology through multiple exhibitions. It is typically a home of robots, outer space, and 3-D Printing. Your kids are likely to enjoy activities from any of these stations: Sandbox, Backstage, Treehouse, Maker Space, and Studio.
